Închis pentru o infracţiune minoră la doar 19 ani, JR află repede cât de grea e viaţa în închisoare. Să obţină protecţie este de o importanţă extraordinară, iar JR se va trezi curând în grija celui mai faimos criminal al Australiei, Brendan Lynch. Dar protecţia vine cu un preţ, iar Lynch are planuri pentru tânărul său protejat: la eliberare, acesta îi va organiza evadarea.
